Hey guys....just wanted to give you a little preview of a feature that I am developing for the Poker Sharkz website.  It's called player achievements and you may have seen something like this if you have played facebook poker. Basically, I want to find ways to keep players interested in the website and social aspects of the community and at the same time make the poker as fun as possible. It always seems more fun to me if I am trying to achieve a goal when playing games online, on xbox or whatever, so I thought the same would apply here as well.

Players will soon be able to earn achievements by doing things and interacting on the website as well as on the poker tables. For example, if a player wins so many times with a high card or a pair, they can earn an achievement. Another example would be an achievement for winning a certain number of heads up games or winning the league championship, but you get the idea. I am going to start out with a base of 15 achievements for players to start off with.  Below is a preview of the achievements. There will be 10 levels in each one.
